Since its founding in 1941, ZERMA, which was originally based in Germany, develops and produces machines for the size reduction of plastics. Over the years, the company has become one of the world's leading manufacturers in this market. Adapting to the requirements of globalization, ZERMA Machinery & Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in Shanghai in 1999. Today this is the main production site for the world wide market.

ZERMA offers the complete spectrum of size reduction technology. From beside the press granulators to large heavy duty shredders. Including compact sound-proofed granulators as well as specialized systems for in house granulation, large diameter pipes and tires. Pulverizers and accessories round out the offering.

Due to this extensive network there are ZERMA systems in more than 70 countries worldwide. Numerous local agencies make sure that service and spare parts are available locally and present ZERMA on plastic exhibitions and conferences worldwide.

In line Granulator

Granulation and size reduction of plastics, e.g. scrap from blow and injection moulding or extrusion processes, requires a lot of know how and experience. ZERMA has a long history in the design and implementation of size reduction equipment and offers a product portfolio which is as wide as the spectrum of materials that need to be processed. ZERMA granulators in the GSL, GST and GSC series are specially designed for in house recycling applications in line with the production machinery. The regrind can be directly reintroduced into the production process or stored in a central silo. The compact size and low noise emission make these machines ideally suited for in-house scrap.
